Ian Foster, New Zealand coach:
“We did a good job, we had a pretty clear idea of how we had to take this match, we wanted to control it thanks to our pack and the forwards did the job, it allowed us to have opportunities, I’m very satisfied with the way we respected the game. Very disappointed with Le Roux Malan’s injury which seems quite serious.
(on the performance of Roigard, man of the match) He played very well, he knew how to seize the opportunities, it’s one thing to have a lot of balls, it’s another to make the right decisions with them, he knew how to do it, he was efficient and we benefited from his races. We were good in the static phases, which gave us opportunities in the game and we were able to use the spaces.
