If summer is not yet over, some are already thinking about the end of year celebrations. The discounter Lidl has just announced the launch of a Christmas log in the colors of the brand. Covered in red, yellow and blue, it will be accompanied by a Lidl branded white chocolate. The 500 gram dessert, composed of vanilla and strawberry ice cream, will be marketed on November 1st. For the moment, its price is not yet known.

This is not the first time that Lidl has marketed products in the brand’s colors. Already, in 2020, the brand had designed sneakers that sold out in no time. Initially sold for 12.99 euros in stores, many pairs ended up on second-hand sites, at exorbitant prices.

Building on this success, the group reiterated these communication campaigns and applied this principle to flip flops, swim shorts, t-shirts, buoys and inflatable mattresses as well as beach towels. And the brand has no limits. Last year, Lidl created three Mini vehicles in the brand’s colors, to be won in a competition. Lidl therefore continues to ride this trend, and will perhaps invite itself to the end-of-year holiday tables.
