Australian defender Clare Hunt, semi-finalist with her selection this summer at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, has signed for three years at Paris SG, the club announced on Friday.

“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Clare Hunt for the next three seasons,” he said in a press release. “The Australian international is now tied to the club until June 30, 2026.”

At 24, Clare Hunt has 13 caps for Australia. In August with her teammates, Clare Hunt eliminated France after a penalty shootout in the quarter-finals (7 tab to 6). Australia then lost against England in the semi-final, before also losing the match for 3rd place against Sweden, including a penalty conceded on a foul by Clare Hunt.

At club level, she has so far only played in her native country, for Canberra United, Sidney University FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.
