The british filmmaker Nicolas Roeg, who among other things was behind the magical film ‘Red Shock’, is dead at 90 years. It confirms his son over for the news agency AP.

the Smoke is described as one of the Uk’s biggest Hititbet film directors in the 1970s and 1980s.

“He was a father through and through. He had just had his 90th birthday in august,” says the son.

‘Red Shock’ from 1973 with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie in the lead roles was his breakthrough. A visually violent film about a married couple who lose their child in a drowning accident.
