Led until the hour mark on the lawn of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayern Munich came out with difficulty on Saturday at the start of the evening, however signing their third victory in as many Bundesliga matches thanks to Leroy Sané and Mathys Tel ( 2-1).

With nine points on the clock, Munich’s Thomas Tuchel join Bayer Leverkusen, easy winner of promoted Darmstadt 5 to 1, at the top of the German championship standings, Werkself (eleven from the factory) occupying the leader’s chair at goal difference (8 against 7).

On Sunday, Union Berlin receives RB Leipzig (5:30 p.m.) and can complete the trio of teams with a clear course after three days of the championship.

Early Saturday evening, on the lawn of the team that has succeeded the least in recent years (nine defeats and six draws in the last nineteen duels since 2014), Bayern had to be patient to succeed in making skip the Gladbach lock.

The teammates of Thomas Müller, tenured for the first time this season, were behind for half an hour.

With three attackers at the end of the game (Harry Kane, Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting, Mathys Tel), it was Mathys Tel who gave Bayern the victory in the 87th minute with a header from a corner.

After the international break, the ten-time reigning German champions will host Leverkusen on Friday September 15 (8:30 p.m.) at the Allianz Arena, for a first shock at altitude.
