Jews in Europe believe that anti-semitism has increased. This according to a new study by the EU agency for human rights. Over 16 000 jews in twelve EUROPEAN countries, including Sweden, have responded to the survey, and nine out of ten say that anti-semitism has increased in the last five years. As many are pointing out anti-semitism on social media as the biggest problem.

The respondents in the survey also testifies to the threats, harassment, vandalism and insults in everyday life, reports Radio Sweden.

the Study also shows that a third of the respondents victims of harassment at least once in the last year, and as many say they are afraid to show in public that they are jews.

the Survey is the largest ever of its kind and a similar study was done five years ago. In Sweden, experience eleven per cent of respondents believe that the situation is worse today compared to then.
