The famous rapper has not finished talking about him. Accustomed to controversies, Ye, that is what he must be called from now on, is now accused of assault on a man whom he allegedly hit in the face.
On April 17, the TMZ site reported the altercation between the rapper and the man who filed a complaint against him. According to a spokesperson for Kanye West, the complainant in question allegedly assaulted Bianca Censori, Ye’s wife since 2022. This source reports the scene to TMZ: “Caught is a completely inappropriate description of what happened. Bianca was physically attacked.” She continues: “The attacker didn’t just hit her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, grabbed her waist, turned her around, and then blew kisses to her. She was beaten and sexually assaulted.”
It was then that Kanye West wanted to defend his wife and hit the man in the face before fleeing with Bianca Censori. The alleged victim filed a complaint but his injuries did not require treatment. An investigation was opened by the Los Angeles Police Department. TMZ reports that law enforcement is seeking to interview the rapper to hear his side of the story, as well as speak with witnesses present during the encounter.
This is not the first time that Kanye West has been at the center of public outbursts. In 2023, he had already been the subject of a police investigation after a paparazzi filed a complaint against him for assault. Ye allegedly snatched the phone from the photographer’s hands before throwing it on the ground. During a press conference held in Los Angeles, she accused him of having inflicted “great emotional and mental suffering” on her.
The rapper was ultimately not charged. In January this year, another man filed a battery complaint against Kanye West, accusing the rapper of hitting him on the streets of Los Angeles in 2022 when he wanted an autograph. An investigation is underway.
