The Federal Council was not a friendly solution for the distribution of the departments. He decided by vote, as the Federal Council spokesman André Simonazzi said on Monday in front of the Federal house media. The Problem was apparently that no one wanted to take over the defense Department (VBS). This now goes to the newly elected CVP Federal councillor Viola Amherd. For 23 years, the Department was in the hands of the SVP.
