At 38 years old, Mathieu Coutadeur saw fit to have to end his football career. The original Manceau, who played for AS Monaco, Lorient and Ajaccio, is playing this year for his favorite club in the 3rd division. The former French football hopeful wore the France Espoir team jersey 7 times. In a press release published by the Le Mans club, he indicates that he will “no longer be on the field but I will never be very far from it”.
The midfielder has to his credit, a Gambardella Cup in 2004, and a French Cup final in 2010 under the colors of AS Monaco, lost 1-0 against Paris-Saint-Germain. It currently occupies 5th place in the national ranking with 8 points behind Niort which is aiming to move up.
