Three iraqi men are arrested in Germany on suspicion that they planned an attack with explosives.

the Men were apprehended on Wednesday morning, when German police struck against properties in Dithmarschen, located south of the Danish border.
the Two men, 23-year-old, identified as Shahin and Hersh, suspected of preparing a bomb attack, while the third man, 36-year-old Rauf, allegedly had provided assistance.
– This shows that the threat from islamist terrorism remains high, says Holger Muench, who is head of the German federal.
It is not immediately clear when the three men came to Germany, but they all have refugee status.

According to Frauke Koehler, spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office, the men were not come far in their planning.
– We believe that Shahin and Hersh were determined to carry out the attack, says Koehler, and explains that there was not yet a concrete goal and time.
Koehler reports that the men are showing sympathy for the Islamic State, but there is no evidence that they are members of the terrorbevægelsen.
