Since may of last year are no longer allowed to communicate with teachers and their classes via Whatsapp. This is because the minimum age was increased to 16 years.
the Central school care (ZSP) has extended the Whatsapp ban. The App is no longer allowed in the school at all, neither in the contact of the teachers with each other and in communication with the parents.
The ZSP has based its decision, according to its President, Jürg Altwegg (Green) on the data protection officer of the Canton of Zurich.
