Emiliano Sala was on Tuesday night having played his first match for Cardiff.
But the argentine striker never arrived to his new club. On the way across The English Channel disappeared, the small private plane, where he was the only passenger, suddenly from the radar and is still not been found.
It is eight days ago, to the Sala and the pilot Dave Ibbotson tragically disappeared. The authorities have long since given up trying to find them alive, and in London was on Tuesday evening taken a touching farewell with the attacker, as the Premier League never got to see.
On all Premier League stadiums, there was a one-minute mindestund up to tonight’s matches, and at the Emirates Stadium was obviously done something extra out of the memory of Sala, as Arsenal met Salas club, Cardiff.
In kampprogrammet was Salas name included in the Cardiff squad. It was flanked by a yellow lily.

Arsenal also shared yellow lilies out to the crowd, and before the match was two beautiful wreaths placed in the center circle of the two team captains, Sol Bamba and Mesut Ozil.
– It is a yellow flower, the welsh flower, and it has an impact on Nantes. We feel with Nantes, their fans and their players. The well-known certainly Emiliano better than us, and it is harder for them, said Cardiff director Ken Choo before the Premier League showdown.
Emilianos Salas picture was shown at the Emirates’ big screens, and the Cardiff supporters made a beautiful yellow tifo to pay homage to the attacker, who was the club’s rekordindkøb.
It was a wet, cold evening in London, but in the stands were shown lots of heat.
