Car On Swedish motorways drive will soon self-propelled cars around. Volvo has in his own country, to grant permission for a trial with the vehicles. Behind the wheel-trained drivers, the driving principle is not touch but be able to intervene. The cars drive up to 80 miles per hour.
Volvo is working together with the countrymen of Veoneer, that the technology for self-propelled cars were devised. Three roads have been designated as testing grounds: the E4 between Stockholm and Malmö, the E6 between Göteborg and Malmö and an N-way between Jönköping and Gothenburg. Which are all situated in the south of the country.
