Pakistan supreme court took on Tuesday position to the case against Asia Bibi, who last year was acquitted of blasphemy, having had a death sentence hanging over her.
Bibi set eight years on death row before she was acquitted in October of last year. Daughters her escaped the country and have been granted asylum in Canada, but Bibi has so far not been able to follow after them. That may change now that the acquittal has been upheld.
