Salling Group expects to open the first BR-shops in the course of the spring, when the BR-chain, begins a nationwide opening programme.

‘There is a particularly strong Danish brand, and in recent weeks, mention of BR has underlined, that the danes would very much like to keep life in BR,’ saith the Salling Group’s managing director, Per Bank, in a press release.

From the press release it appears that Salling Group is negotiating with landlords over the country to take over vacant shop premises. Thus can the 25 new stores open in the premises that previously has housed the BR, and they can also open in the new premises.

It is not yet announced, where the 25 new BR-shops should be. However, writing Salling Group, they are going after to spread the shops over the whole country, but that they in the first place is not going to be on the islands, there is brofaste.
