Badmintonspilleren Anders Antonsen can call themselves the winner of the World Tour event in Indonesia Masters.

In the final in Jakarta won the dane over verdensranglistens number one, japaneren Kento Momota, with 21-16, 14-21, 21-16 in a riveting and intense competition.

Indonesia Masters ranks as a Super 500 tournament on the World Tour. Anders Antonsen had not previously participated in such a big international finale, but he showed no signs of nerves.

Kento Momota has been an evil spirit for the Danish players in this week’s tournament. But Antonsen led is not the same fate, as Jan Island. Jørgensen, Hans-Kristian Vittinghus and Viktor Axelsen suffered earlier in the tournament in the meetings with the last.

The 21-year-old dane seemed anything but nervous, and in the introduction he pushed Momota to make more mistakes. Antonsen punched a small hole by a 7-4-keeping, but was retrieved again at 8-8.

In the last half of the set took Antonsen again the control on scoretavlen, and this time he let not Momota come back. On sætbolden showed Antonsen strong game at the net.

As a result of the conflict between the Danish elite players, and Badminton Denmark’s Anders Antonsen without a coach or other advisers to the final, as are all the other danes players had traveled far from Jakarta.

In the first set did aarhusianeren just fine without help, but in the second set, he could probably have used a few good advice or a little support, since Momota first found storspillet forward.

Japaneren brought himself quickly to 7-0, and so was the set, almost certainly, before it had come in time. Antonsen had several rounds of shaved lead down to three points, but Momota was all the time in the control and near vienna a third set.

the Dane got on better in the third set and the match seemed once again equal. Mid term, it was with a Danish upper hand, as Antonsen after a few good wins and created a lead of 11-8 in sidebyttet.

the Lead grew further and reached five points at 15-10. Antonsen continued to show storspil, and not by the network, where japaneren usually has its strengths, and let the dane out bonnet.

Antonsen secured six matchbolde, and although he missed the first two, he fetched the title. In his jubilation he ran out into the audience and celebrated the triumph.
