Not less than 26 hotels and 13 guest rooms in seven different categories nominated. Six Bruges hotels were this year included in the Top 25 best hotels of Belgium. The are The Peellaert (4), Navarre (7), Dukes (10), Duke’s Palace (14), Van der Valk (21) and the Academy (23). This honor also fell 13 B&B’s to turn in their category: Canal (1), House of King (2), La Maison (3), Gallery Yasmine (4), The Good 13 (6), Huis ’t Schaep (7), The Townhouse (9), Maison le Dragon (12), Grand Deluxe (15), Bariseele (16), Antares (18), Philemon & Baucis (19), and Sint-Niklaas (25). B&B La Maison also reached the European Top 25, while House King and B&B Speelmansrei both in the European and World Top 25.
Also in the special categories, Bruges is very well represented in the Belgian Top 25. With 7 nominations in the category of ‘small hotels’, 14 nominations in the category ‘best service’, 14 nominations in the category ‘romance’ and 7 nominations in the category ‘budget’ did Bruges it will never be better. A special mention for Hotel Van Cleef by travelers, rated as best hotel of Belgium to the Top 25 ” small hotels’ and ‘best service’.
