A longtime Confidant of US President Donald Trump, the political consultant Roger Stone has been accused and arrested. The 66-Year-olds in the special investigator Robert Mueller threatened to charge obstruction of investigations by Congress, false statements and Witness tampering, accused of, such as the office of the special investigator announced on Friday.
Stone was arrested early Friday morning by officials of the Federal police FBI at his home in Fort Lauderdale in the state of Florida, as the transmitter CNN reported. He should appear on the same day in court.
Stone had stood during the presidential election campaign in connection to the Trump Team. In August 2016, he led to have contacts to Wikileaks. The disclosure platform published in 2016, internal E-Mails from the party headquarters, the Democrats and the election campaign teams of Trumps rival Hillary Clinton, who had been hijacked by suspected Russian hackers.
