A week after the outbreak of a fire on the German freighter “Yantian Express” in the Atlantic ocean, the fire is brought under control. Meanwhile, the first members of the crew went back on Board.

After a week, we managed to bring the fire on the container ship “Yantian Express” on the high seas under control. A crew of five men had been safely on the ship, the shipping line Hapag-Lloyd brought back, the company said mitt.

The “Yantian Express” will now be taken with a slower travel in tow and was located about 800 nautical miles off the canadian coast. A third ocean-going tug was on the way and will support the Work expected to be Sunday.
