Showbiz Pommeline (24) of ‘Temptation Island’ is not exactly a carefree year-end behind the back. To a (then) unexplained reason, the excessively tattooed blonde is affected by all kinds of physical complaints. Writes that TV Family.
“for months I suffer from my intestines,” says Pommeline. “Moreover, I have no appetite and vermager I visibly. I also feel often down and see it revealed. Not at all pleasant, so. I feel that something with me is wrong. But I can’t hold on.”
Hereditary?
The girlfriend of Fabrizio decided to go in search of answers. They had thorough medical tests in the clinic.
“There was a rich darmonderzoek in my calendar,” said Pommeline. Something where they absolúút not looking forward to. But well, now it appears that there is a clear connection between the pain in her intestines and all the other symptoms. Ulcerative colitis, says the verdict that she was in the clinic. That is a chronic inflammatory disease of the colon. The cause is not known, and the condition can be hereditary. Also a less well-functioning immune system can lie at the basis. Ulcerative colitis is associated with an increased risk of colon cancer, and stress can make the disease worse.
