The first figures from the count show that Felix Tshisekedi, from the main opposition party, is in parallel with the other utmanarkandidaten Martin Fayulu at just over 40 per cent. This is according to Vital Kamerhe, kampanjchef for Tshisekedi. The ruling alliance’s candidate Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary is currently far behind with a modest 13 percent, according to Kamerhe.
