On Monday morning, a fierce forest fire broke out on the slope of the Sasso Fenduto above Riazzino. The flames spread according to the “Tio” by the fierce Wind that is blowing today through the whole Canton of Ticino.
The fire Department of Tenero-Conra is in use and tried to extinguish the fire from the ground and from the air. The cause of the fire is still unknown. As “Tio”, the Brand for 14 h under control. ()
