The american skier Mikaela Shiffrin put herself on Saturday at the record for most slalomsejre in the women’s World Cup.
In the austrian Semmering downloaded the 23-year-old Shiffrin career 36. slalomsejr, which no other has done in history.
After the first pass had the sovereign american built up a lead of 0,48 seconds to Petra Vlhová from Slovakia. The olympic champion Frida Hansdotter from Sweden was 0,53 seconds after.
In the second pass lost Shiffrin little time after a few mistakes on the lower part of the slope. It was not to cost the win, since the american total was 0,19 seconds better than Vlhová.
Wendy Holdener from Switzerland fought into third place.

Before Saturday’s World Cup in Austria shared Mikaela Shiffrin holds the record for the most number of slalomsejre with austrian Marlies Schild, who stopped his career in 2014. Schild is now number two on the rekordlisten with 35 slalomsejre.
It was also another record Saturday for Shiffrin, who really broke through on the international skiscene in 2013.
As the first in the history have the american now also won 15 World Cup races in a single calendar year.
In the gentlemen it ended with an Italian triumph, for the second day in a row, when Dominik Paris won the World Cup race in Super G in Bormio with a lead of just 0.01 second to austrian Matthias Mayer. Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Source was three.
Dominik Paris, also won Friday’s downhill and has now won 11 World Cup races in his career.
