Is Christian Eriksen really one of the world’s best players, or is he only spoken up in the Danish media, because he is a dane?

The questions ask many danes probably themselves, but now come the English newspaper The Guardian with a bid.

They have made a list of the world’s 100 best players in 2018, where they have gathered opinions from 225 experts from 69 countries.

Here are Eriksen ranked as the number 36, right between the numbers 35, Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti, and the number 37, Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois, whilst Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale is the number 38.

the Dane also keeps names like Romelu Lukaku, David de Gea, Alisson, Parts Alli, Sergio Busquets, Edin Dzeko, Leroy Sané, Joshua Kimmich, James Rodriguez, Thiago Silva, Leonardo Bonucci, Diego Costa, Mesut Ozil and Axel Witsel behind him.

– The Danish playmakers technique is one of the Premier League’s most opulent sights. The screw and precision, as he can deliver on set pieces and passes in open play, often taking your breath away from the people, sounds in the assessment.

– Eriksen carried the creative burden for Denmark at the WORLD championships, where he helped his team to the round, but missed his kick in the shoot-out against Croatia – but he has more support at Tottenham.

– Finished last season with a record 14 goals for klubholdet, but has recently been out with stomach problems, it sounds in the description.
