the Women were, according to the Norwegian media VG backpackers. They were found dead in a popular hiking area about 10 kilometers from the village of Imlil.
the Women were allegedly arrived to the area in Wednesday, 12. december.
the Danish police have informed the relatives of a Danish woman, informs the Citizens advice bureau.
The families have been offered consular assistance from the foreign ministry’s Citizen service, and the Danish embassy in Morocco.
the Citizens advice bureau informs, moreover, that the Danish ambassador has traveled to Marrakech in order to ensure the closest possible contact with local moroccan authorities on the further course of events.
Rigspolitiets National Efterforskningscenter, indicating in an email to Ekstra Bladet, ‘a nordic liaison officer, as to the daily sitting in Morocco, is on the way to Marrakech in order to create a connection between the Danish and the Norwegian police and the moroccan police’.
Moroccan police are working to determine a motive for the killings, as the p.t. investigated as a criminal act.
