Sint-Truiden Evy Roosen (37) lives with her four-year-old daughter Cor in the centre of Sint-Truiden. But behind the facade of her house near the urban park of Sint-Truiden, there is bitter poverty. The water is dripping off of the ceiling, the mold is on the walls, in the only living area is their bed. There is no plumbing. Evy and Cor to go to the toilet on a second-hand ziekenhuisstoel. There is no central heating, no kitchen.
From the story of Evy and Cor is a man no joy. Evy works as a cleaning and earns a net 1200 euros. After the payment of the monthly fixed costs there’s not much more about. Currently they wait on a surgery on her strained wrists. They live in discord with her parents, the dad of Cor is out of the picture disappeared.
