Egyptian authorities on Thursday arrested a kamelejer and a woman and charged them for having helped two people to climb the great pyramid of Giza, also called Keopspyramiden.

According to the egyptian interior ministry put the arrested woman to the Danish pair in contact with the kamelejeren, who illegally shipped them to the pyramid on the evening of the 29. november for 4000 egyptian pound button 1500 dollars.

Several major egyptian newspapers have written about the video, and the story has, according to TV2 reached the egyptian minister of antiquities, Khaled al-Anany. He has referred the matter to the egyptian public prosecutor’s office.
for Extra of the Magazine’s Andrew White explained that he had long picked out the top of the pyramid as the goal of the video.
It remains to be seen what punishment the two danes are at risk, when the egyptian authorities have dealt with the matter.
