Through a lifetime as a guitarist in one of the world’s most well-known bands, the Rolling Stones, Keith Richards never made a secret of its great consumption of both booze and the miscellaneous drugs. He almost bathed in booze through most of his life.
But it was put an end to for ca. a year ago. And Keith Richard has more or less been on the vandvognen ever since, although he still every now and then can enjoy a cool beer or a single glass of wine.

The 74-year-old Keith Richard came up with the startling disclosure in an interview with the american music magazine Rolling Stone.
– It has been going on in ca. a year. I put the stopper in. I was tired of it, tells Richard of his decision no longer to party game through and get stiff in time and the leavers.
It was time to stop, says Keith Richards, short and good.

The 71-year-old Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones has been on the vandvognen since 2010. He says to Rolling Stone that he can clearly notice a change in Richards:
– He is a pleasure to work with. He is much more mild and more open to more ideas.
Keith Richard also says that his goodbye to excessive alcohol intake have a positive influence on the music.
– It was actually interesting to play, when I was sober. We are much more conscious about the way in which we weave the guitar and the game together. We are all over 70, but we rocker still as if we were 40 years, says Keith Richards.
