More police street patrols and firefighters responded after police in Alameda outside of San Francisco in California received a message that someone shouted for help from a restaurant on Wednesday morning.
When emergency services arrived at the site, they found a man who had been stuck in an exhaust fan which belonged to a chinese restaurant in San Lorenzo. Where shall a man have been in two whole days.
” We found an intruder (possibly a burglar) caught in the exhaust fan on the roof. The fire department rescued him, and he is in custody, writes police on Twitter. The police writes on Facebook that the fire department spent almost an hour to get the man up by the fan.
the Man, who is 29 years old, was physically exhausted and dehydrated when he was found. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The man was covered in black grease when he was found.
– At this time investigating whether the man committed the burglary and vandalism. It is unknown whether the suspects had intended to commit burglary. The case will be sent to the prosecutor, ” says the cop Ray Kelly in a statement on Facebook.
29-year-old was lucky, according to Kelly, it is not certain that he had survived a day in the type of cooker hood.
