In the Congo, 500 new cases of disease by the Ebola-Virus known. 452 cases were confirmed; in the case of 48 the disease is likely to be, according to the Congolese health Ministry on late Tuesday evening. So far, a total of 289 people died. The containment of the haemorrhagic fever in the province of North Kivu is particularly difficult, because in the raw materials area, several armed groups are active.
According to the world health organization (WHO), this is now the second worst Ebola outbreak in history. In the case of the most serious Ebola epidemic in West Africa, more than 11’000 people came 2014/2015 killed. (aqie/sda)
