A judge in New York speaks out today about the charges against Michael Cohen, the former lawyer of president Donald Trump. Cohen has his cooperation with the court and special prosecutor Robert Mueller offered, in exchange for a sentence remissions.

Cohen stands accused of false statements, financial tampering and illegal campaign funding. That last charge has to do with the zwijggeld that Cohen paid to former porno Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, who reported an affair to have had with the president.

Cohen had guilty pleaded and said willing to cooperate with the court and special prosecutor Mueller, with a view to sentence remissions. Mueller stated earlier this month that Cohen “useful” and “credible” information provided about the ties between Russia and the Trump campaign.
