At home in the Bay of Hyères, Lauriane Nolot won her second world title (after that obtained in 2023) in kitesurfing, which will be a new Olympic discipline this summer in Marseille. Excellent news for French sailing which can count, with Toulonnaise, on a chance of a gold medal. Her compatriot Jessie Kampman took the third step of the podium. Poema Newland finished just off the podium. Among the men too, Alex Mazella missed the medal by one step. A disappointment because the Habs finished with bronze last year.
