Leaders Cup: TJ Shorts is “perhaps Terminator”, according to Lisalo, the Paris Basket coach

Tuomas Lisalo, coach of Paris, winner of the Leaders Cup against Nanterre (90-85): “During a training camp in Finland, a local TV asked me what I thought of TJ Shorts. I said I wasn’t sure if he was human, that maybe he was a Terminator. This guy is incredible. Even today, he pulled everyone up, while being extremely demanding of himself (…) I am lucky to have this kind of leader on the team. There are two players who take the light, TJ and Nadir, and that is not easy in a team sport. They always make the effort to share the credit. It’s not tennis or F1 but a team sport. (…) This trophy is a validation of the work we have done but it also says about our potential, about what else we can achieve this season. It has to be a driving force, not something we have to settle for.”
