Former winner of the US Open in 2003 and former world number 1, Andy Roddick is suffering from skin cancer. The 41-year-old American tennis player made the announcement in his podcast “Served with Andy Roddick” last week. “I have suffered from different types of skin cancer since I stopped playing. I had a squamous cell tumor removed from my lip five or six years ago, I never talked about it,” he admitted to his fans. He advised young players to be careful in the sun on the courts by protecting themselves well from UV rays.
