The international winger of Rugby Club Toulonnais, Gabin Villière (28 years old, 16 caps), was injured at the end of January against Glasgow in the Champions Cup. He had to leave the field in the 34th minute, after a sprain of the internal lateral ligament in his right knee. Questioned by our colleagues from Midi Olympique, Gabin Villière confided that he is aiming for a return to competition at the beginning of March, on the occasion of the reception of Usap in Mayol for the 17th day of the Top 14.

“Deep down, I am aiming for the reception in Perpignan, scheduled for March 2. I just took off the splint and I feel good at the moment, he says. From now on, we will have to come back, step by step, to find the land again.” And to put things into perspective: “When you have experienced a very complicated period as was the case for me a little over a year ago and you have had a series of operations, you are much more able to put things into perspective. I take it upon myself, I keep my spirits up and I work in the gym with the physiotherapists. There’s nothing else you can do anyway. There’s no point in twisting your mind.”
