Ubiquiti Unveils U7 Pro Max, U7 Wall, and U7 Outdoor Access Points with Wi-Fi 7 Technology
Ubiquiti has recently launched three new Wi-Fi 7 access points: the U7 Pro Max, U7 Wall, and U7 Outdoor. Priced at 312 euros, the U7 Pro Max offers cutting-edge features, while the Pro Wall and Outdoor models come in at 223 euros each. However, the U7 Outdoor will only be available starting from June 17th.
The U7 Pro Max and U7 Wall support Wi-Fi 7 technology and operate across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands. The U7 Pro Max boasts an impressive theoretical throughput of up to 5765Mbit/s at 6GHz, 8648Mbit/s at 5GHz, and 688Mbit/s at 2.4GHz. In comparison, the previously released U7 Pro had a maximum throughput of 2882Mbit/s at 5GHz. Additionally, the U7 Pro Max is equipped with a 2.5Gbit/s Ethernet port for uplink connectivity.
With a coverage area of 160m², the U7 Pro Max can support over 500 devices and is powered by PoE+. This new access point also features 4×4 MIMO on the 5GHz band, an upgrade from the previous 2×2 MIMO support on the U7 Pro.
The U7 Pro Wall offers similar throughput speeds to the U7 Pro Max on the 6GHz and 2.4GHz bands, reaching a maximum of 5764Mbit/s and 688Mbit/s respectively. However, the throughput on the 5GHz band is slightly lower at 4324Mbit/s. This model can support over 300 devices and features 2×2 MIMO support.
Lastly, the U7 Outdoor is designed for outdoor use with a coverage area of 465m² and support for over 200 devices. Operating on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, this access point delivers throughput speeds of 688Mbit/s and 4324Mbit/s respectively, with 2×2 MIMO support.
In conclusion, Ubiquiti’s new U7 Pro Max, U7 Wall, and U7 Outdoor access points offer cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7 technology with impressive throughput speeds and device support. These devices are set to revolutionize the way we experience wireless connectivity in both indoor and outdoor environments.
