The French Rugby Federation had promised an innovation in the way of presenting the list of players selected for the World Cup without saying more in recent hours.

On the set of the 1 p.m. newspaper of TF1, rather than listing the internationals one by one of the 33 elected, Fabien GalthiƩ gave the floor to the French and the supporters of the Blues. Throughout France, in towns, villages, the countryside, on beaches or rugby pitches, French citizens of all ages have therefore been put forward to reveal the content of the selection. This process is reminiscent of that of the English Football Federation before the 2018 World Cup.

An original way to federate the organizing country before the big start of the competition, on September 8, until October 28. The XV of France will start with a shock against New Zealand on September 8 at 9:15 p.m. before challenging Italy, Uruguay and Namibia.
