The three Frenchmen engaged in the 110m hurdles, Sasha Zhoya, Wilhem Belocian and Just Kwaou-Mathey, crossed the milestone of the series on Sunday at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
In 13.31 (0.5 m/s of wind), Belocian won his race and was the most convincing. Zhoya took 3rd place in his series in 13”35 (-0.3 m/s), while Kwaou-Mathey was drafted on time, after finishing 5th in the last series (13”42, – 0.9m/s).
Double American world champion Grant Holloway set the best time (13.18, -0.6 m/s). Jamaican Rasheed Broadbell, world best performer of the season in 12”94, fell. The semi-finals and the final are scheduled for Monday evening.
