As the new seasons of Top 14 and ProD2 are launched this weekend, the National Rugby League unveils its “Letter to the XV” campaign. A rugby anthem declaimed by the presidents of the Top 14 and ProD2 clubs “to mark their unwavering support for the XV of France”.

Each of the 30 club bosses was put to work, writing and then declaiming a verse from this ode for the Blues. “Almost a love letter,” the statement said. A hymn relayed on social networks and whose film will be broadcast on a giant screen in all stadiums during the first three days of the Top 14 and Pro D2 championships.

“This “Letter to the XV” underlines the powerful link which unites the clubs to the French team. The clubs contribute to the excellence of the training of players; the French team transcends these talents and makes French rugby shine on the international scene. The club presidents wanted to testify with a certain humor to their unconditional support, ”summarizes Thomas Otton, the director of communication for the LNR.
