Spanish long-distance running superstar Kilian Jornet announced on Thursday that he will not start the 20th edition of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc on September 1 in Chamonix (Haute-Savoie) due to an injury to his basin.
“No UTBM for me this year. I still can’t run because of my sacrum injury. We therefore decided that it was better to give priority to recovery ”, wrote on his social networks the Catalan, four times winner of the event.
