Shocking images. This Thursday, during the friendly meeting between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr (2-0), Cristiano Ronaldo made (a lot) of talk about him…off the pitch. After the final whistle, as the Portuguese headed to the locker room, some opposing supporters threw what appeared to be Al-Hilal scarves at him. Obviously very annoyed by this provocation, the five-time Ballon d’Or bent down to pick one up, rubbed it against his crotch…before throwing it in the air. A rude gesture which (necessarily) causes a lot of ink to flow. And which is not worthy of a professional player, even more so of this stature.

During the match, Cristiano Ronaldo was targeted by Al-Hilal supporters. The latter have launched, on several occasions, chants in praise of Lionel Messi, his great rival. Which pissed him off. In a video published on social networks, we can see “CR7” responding to them. “I am here [in Saudi Arabia], not Messi,” he seems to shout. As a reminder, the former Manchester United player joined Al-Nassr in January 2023. Since then, many football stars have chosen to play in Saudi Arabia.
