French N.1 Adrian Mannarino qualified for the final of the ATP 250 tournament in Newport on Saturday, played on grass, by defeating his compatriot Ugo Humbert, 6-4, 6-3, in the half.
Mannarino, 38th player in the world, will face the Americans John Isner or Alex Michelsen in the final, opposed in the semi-finals later in the evening.
It is the second time this season that Mannarino has reached the final of an ATP tournament, after that of Mallorca, already on grass, earlier this month, where he lost to Christopher Eubanks 6-1, 6-4.
The French will try in the United States to win the third title of his career.
