He also admits that the team is focusing on the long term and that Aston Martin has dedicated “Free practice 1 on Friday to the 2024 car, to see where the team is at.” Although the Silverstone layout is not favorable to Aston Martins, due to the long curves, engineer Mike Krack slips that new parts have been installed for this race. “Others will come to Budapest, others to Spa, others to Holland: it’s a continuous improvement,” he sums up.
