French basketball finds a broadcaster. This Thursday, the National Basketball League (LNB) announced the signing of a 7-year broadcasting agreement (until June 2030) for the Betclic Elite championship. The broadcasters will be the Skweek platform and La Chaîne L’Equipe. Skweek is already the official broadcaster in France of European competitions such as the Euroleague and the Eurocup.
La Chaîne l’Equipe will broadcast 1 regular season match on Sunday afternoon, 10 Playoff matches including the finals, 3 Leaders Cup matches and the All Star Game. For its part, Skweek will be able to broadcast all the games of the season: regular season, Playoffs and finals, Leaders Cup and the All Star Game. La Pro B will still be broadcast on the LNB TV platform.
The new president of the LNB, Philippe Ausseur, this agreement “demonstrates the unprecedented attractiveness of the Betclic Elite”. He adds: “I am very happy with this long-term commitment which will allow the clubs to continue their development and professional basketball to shine even more by multiplying its exposure. I would like to warmly thank beIN SPORTS and France 3 Régions who have done a high quality job this season and with whom it has been a pleasure to work. »
