Absent from Valencia two years ago due to a positive Covid-19 test just before the start of Euro-2021, Alba Torrens carried her team at arm’s length, for their fifth continental semi-final, with 27 points, including a fifth successful three-point shot in the middle of the last quarter to give themselves some air.
After counting up to 16 points in advance in the third quarter, the Spaniards saw the Magyars come back to four points at the start of the last ten minutes, then to three points three minutes from the end (58- 55).
