The coach of the XV of France Fabien Galthié announced on Wednesday a list without huge surprise of 42 players selected to begin the preparation of the Rugby World Cup in France (September 8 – October 28), with Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack in charge of file. The vast majority of players on this list were in no doubt before being published by the French Rugby Federation (FFR), Galthié relying on a solid and constant framework since the start of his mandate in January 2020. The surprise nevertheless came from the returns of Baptiste Serin (Toulon) and Brice Dulin (La Rochelle). The final 33-player skimming for the Worlds will take place on August 21.
