The 2012 Olympic pole vault champion Renaud Lavillenie took 8th place on Thursday at the Diamond League meeting in Oslo, where he jumped 5.41m. The 36-year-old athlete, former world record holder (6.16m in 2014), then failed three times at 5.61m. Back after several months of rest to heal his hamstrings, the pole vaulter had jumped 5.46 m in Los Angeles at the end of May.
