Before the final sprint in Serie A and the semi-finals of the Europa League against Sevilla, Massimiliano Allegri returned to the difficult season of Paul Pogba, a player he esteems but who had an extremely complicated year due to injuries repeatedly (injury to the calf then to the knee before a muscle injury).
“Paul Pogba played a good last twenty minutes the other day. In terms of technique and physique, he is a different player from the others. Unfortunately, this season has been doomed for him. From non-op to op to all the minor injuries he’s had we’ve come to this point and I have to try and use him in the best way possible so he can kick in hand to the team”, confided the Italian coach. Pogba has only been able to play four matches this season for Juventus Turin.
