Real Madrid were a game behind Girona, surprising leader of La Liga. This Thursday evening in Getafe, the Madrilenians therefore had the opportunity, if successful, to take the lead in the championship. Done. Carlo Ancelotti’s men won against neighboring Madrid (2-0) with a double from Joselu.
Dominant in the first half, the Madrilenians quickly opened the scoring in this match. For its part, Getafe stagnates in 10th place in La Liga (29 points) and remains in the first half of the championship.
