“I’m sick of asking and pleading, there’s no more olive branch. I DEMAND an Oasis meeting when it’s all over.” Two years later, Liam Gallagher’s pleas to his brother Noel on Twitter are still unheeded. Tired of waiting for a possible recomposition of the British group, the members of another English group, Breezer, have imagined a new album by Oasis from voices generated by artificial intelligence, reports The Huffington Post.

Breezer unveiled a few days ago Aisis (a mixture of Oasis and “AI”, or IA, artificial intelligence in French). To create this entirely contrived album, the band took inspiration from Liam Gallagher’s most iconic melodies, then used a computer to reproduce his voice. “We decided to train an AI on the vocal model of Liam Gallagher, and we applied it to some melodies originally composed for our group”, explains Bobby Geraghty, singer and producer of Breezer, with the British daily newspaper The Guardian, relayed by The Huffington Post.

A way to reunite the britpop group of the 90s… without waiting for the reconciliation of the two brothers. “We were tired of waiting for Oasis to finally reform,” continues Bobby Geraghty. The album, titled AIsis: The Lost Tapes, which lasts just over half an hour, was uploaded a few days ago on YouTube. The video has already been viewed more than 181,000 times.

If the British group – which was formed during the Covid pandemic – believes that this real fake album is a way of paying homage to Oasis, it recognizes that this creation is part of a legal gray area, particularly in terms of rights. author. “I think we’re going to start seeing some backlash,” Chris Woodgates, the band’s guitarist, told Decrypt.com.

After this first project, Breezer says he is ready to repeat the experience with new songs. “So we will see how it goes. But we are quite willing to do more. I think it’s an interesting project,” confirms Chris Woodgates.
